And all of this is happening even with Control center disabled at startup together with OEM and "OOBEI2CTpOnOffDetec" and "OSDTpDetect". Thing is that things like task manager whenever opened still freezes for good 3-5 seconds before displaying what load CPU is under properly so even the most basic monitoring tools are getting affected. Not sure if it's already conclusive that Nvidia drivers are the issue and this info is redundant but just giving it in case it helps. When opening HWInfo it often freezes (and you can only get it open by restarting laptop in my experience) on: "Detecting video adapter(s)". My previous laptop I had my fans disabled until temperatures of CPU reached 63C for 3 seconds (but steeper fan curve after that obviously).Īlso something that might help with debugging. With a fan curve to keep fans disabled until they reach 55C or something like that it would be awesome. Thing with fans constantly spinning is also that it drains quite a bit of battery. Also undervolting in bios would be really really great. Tried running it without the control center but the issue remains. At this temperature they should definitely be off right? This is also on "silent". They shut down for a little while but are soon back on which is quite annoying. Update: Without the control center my energy saving mode from windows just gone away O.o I manually added one based on the preset of the energy saving mode (however I can not select the base one - lul).Īny update on when new version will get released? Another issue I'm facing is the fans being pretty much constantly on (CPU temp at 39-42C). So what can I do without the control center and what not? I was all time stuck in the eco mode, so I manually switched to balanced mode in win energy options. Without the control center I can use the fn buttons and set the brightness of the keyboard (of course not changing color etc), but the Mode Switch button does not to work anymore. I guess I will use this for know, but I am not sure if this will have any consequences besides "I can not set the LED bg color". Weird stuff can happen, I do not think this is related.įor now I just uninstalled the Control Center and it looks like the task manager is working and the system is way more direct and stays way more cold then before. The bluescreen was just a one time thing so I've not investigated this anymore.
